Healing Circle for Black Women

As we process the last few months and the relentless, racists murders of Black people across the US, we’re holding a closed, safe space for our women of color to come together, share, lean on each other and be heard while we mourn these tragic losses and all that it triggers for the black female experience.

This conversation and healing circle will be led by Farah Tanis the Co-founder of The Black Women's Blueprint and Certified Family Therapist. Farah has been on founding boards of transnational feminist, human rights and girls’ gender equity organizations. She chaired the U.S. Truth and Reconciliation Commission on Black Women and Sexual Assault,  launched the Museum of Women’s Resistance, Mother Tongue Monologues and the March for Black Women. Tanis has a B.A. in Science from N.Y.U., an M.A. in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University; a postgraduate degree in Family Therapy from Hunter College and is an alumni of Columbia University Business School's Institute for Nonprofit Management.

This conversation will be for black women only to ensure a safe, protected space in this moment. We will hold future conversations with all women to come together in the coming weeks.

Please RSVP to confirm your spot.
